“What are you excessively curious about — curious to a degree that would bore most people? That’s what you’re looking for.” – Paul Graham

Here’s a useful little frame for finding your life path:

“You can do anything, but you can’t do everything.”

Though not technically true (you probably can’t do “anything”), it’s true enough to make the point:

Almost any path can work, if you give it your full focus for a long period of time — without trying to do too many different things at once, or jumping to a new path just because you’re not seeing quick enough results.

Here’s the formula:

1. Choose a path you’re curious about and drawn towards, that feels like it comes naturally to you.

2. Work really, really hard at it for at least 10 years, or the rest of your life (while allowing it to evolve and change over time).

Do that, and you can do pretty much anything you want.

But if you try to do everything, ten years from now you’ll realize you’ve done nothing at all.

Which would be a shame, when you could do anything 🙂

I spent my 20's building a multi-million dollar online company while training intensively in meditation, qigong, plant medicine, and the internal arts. I’ve spent my 30's running retreats all over the world, coaching high-performing entrepreneurs, athletes, creatives, and leaders. Today, I write and speak about human potential, life strategy, modern spirituality, and the path to self-mastery. It’s a pleasure to share that path with you.
