“The goal of life is to match your nature with Nature.” – Joseph Campbell
Remember our golden rule?
Nature doesn’t make mistakes.
Well, I’m about to add a potentially disappointing, but undeniably true extension to that statement:
Nature doesn’t make mistakes, but humans do.
The natural state of our body is health and vitality, but it won’t stay that way if we fill it with toxic food, pesticides and micro-plastics.
The natural state of our mind is peace, clarity, and creativity, but it won’t stay that way if we fill it with social media, junk television and muddled thinking.
The natural state of our spirit is wholeness, unity and integrity, but it won’t stay that way if fear, status, and personal gain fuel all of our choices.
In other words, nature isn’t stupid — we are.
But we don’t have to be.
We are capable of rapid and radical healing if we simply get out of the way and let nature do what it does:
Remove toxic food, and the body becomes healthy.
Remove toxic thoughts and the mind becomes clear.
Remove toxic motivations and the spirit becomes whole.
True health is a birthright, but it’s not a guarantee:
And the only way to achieve health in a sick society is to fight for it.
