A shoe factory is looking for expansion opportunities, so they send two marketing scouts to Africa.
Weeks later, Scout #1 sends a telegram:
“Situation hopeless, no one wears shoes.”
Scout #2 sends back:
“Glorious business opportunity, they have no shoes.”
Both scouts saw the same situation, but had radically different thoughts about it.
Which scout do you think is more effective at his job?
Which scout do you think makes more money?
Which scout do you think is happier?
Scout #1 fell down a mental rabbit hole, got tangled in a web of negativity, and couldn’t think his way out of it.
As a result:
No new business, no big commission, no food on the table for his family…
…Just a long, sad trip home with his tail between his legs.
Worse:
He takes his mind with him everywhere he goes, which means he’s going to see every other potential business opportunity the same way.
With his thoughts, he’s creating a world he doesn’t want to live in:
A world of confusion, frustration, and scarce opportunity.
Meanwhile, Scout #2 lives in the same world, but lives an entirely different life:
A life overflowing with opportunities, created by the power of his thoughts.
As the Buddha famously said:
With your thoughts you create your world.
And in today’s world, there is no skill more important, more valuable, or more mandatory than the skill of clear, accurate, precise thinking.
So we’re going to master it, right here.
I hope you’ll join us.

P.S. A quick reminder:
Precision Thinking is only available until Friday at midnight, and I have no plans to re-open it in the future.
Here’s the link to join us before time expires.
